Measuring Guidelines
Landscaping Pebbles are purchased in 20kg bags for all sizes. There are approx. 70 bags required per cubic metre when using the 10-20mm sizing. When you choose larger sized pebbles, this calculation runs out slightly and can’t be truly calculated.
SD&CO recommends allowing 3-5% more for your space to allow for any discrepancies due to the larger size of the pebbles. This is not an exact measurement, but will provide you with as close as possible quantities. You may have a little bit of product left over, or you may be a little bit short. Each project will be different and you can only truly gauge how much is required by starting to install your pebbles for your project.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The images are an indication only and may not be of the specific size which you are considering. The pebbles are manufactured so that the sizes are categorized by the shortest side (for example: size 20-30mm refers to the average measurement of the shortest sides of the pebbles). As this is a natural product, natural size and colour variation can be expected. For this reason, we recommend that you view the samples in person in our Brisbane Warehouse or order the samples via the website before making a decision on your ideal pebble size.
