Piccolo Black Marquina Marble Candle

A smaller expression of our signature stone candle collection. The Piccolo Black Marquina Marble Candle pairs rich black marble with striking white veining, creating a refined piece designed for everyday ritual.

Hand poured in our Brisbane studio, each candle features Scandinavian Forest, our signature holiday fragrance. Available for a limited time, Piccolo brings together natural materials, traditional craftsmanship and considered design.

Natural Marble, Distinctive Character

Each Piccolo candle begins with a vessel crafted from natural Black Marquina marble. Its deep black surface and contrasting white veins give every piece a unique appearance.

The compact 60 x 60 x 70mm format offers a smaller take on our original marble candles. As a result, Piccolo works beautifully in spaces where a subtle detail makes an impact.

Furthermore, the timeless character of natural stone allows the vessel to remain a decorative piece long after the final burn.

Scandinavian Forest | A Seasonal Fragrance

Fresh, green and softly woody, Scandinavian Forest brings a sense of calm to the holiday season.

Peppermint, spearmint, eucalyptus and grapefruit introduce a crisp opening. Meanwhile, Siberian fir needle and alpine forest notes create a fresh, natural heart.

Finally, cedarwood, oakmoss, patchouli and vanilla add warmth and depth. The result is a balanced fragrance that feels clean, grounded and quietly festive.

Made to Order, Hand Poured in Brisbane

At Stone Design & Co, we make each marble candle to order using traditional candle-making techniques.

Our Brisbane studio carefully hand pours every candle, with a focus on quality, fragrance and a consistent burning experience.

This approach reflects our commitment to considered production and the lasting appeal of natural materials.

A Considered Gift

Created exclusively for the holiday season, the Piccolo Black Marquina Marble Candle offers a refined alternative to traditional gifting.

Its smaller size, natural marble vessel and signature seasonal scent make it a thoughtful choice for those who appreciate design, craftsmanship and everyday rituals.

As each vessel is crafted from natural marble, variations in colour and veining are part of its individual character.

To ensure safe use and the best burning experience, please follow the below steps:

• Vessels made of stone are fragile. Ensure to handle them with care

• Do not use the candle if the stone vessel is cracked or chipped

• Never leave a burning candle unattended

• Ensure burning candles are out of reach from children and pets

• Always burn a candle away from drafts

• Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time as the stone and/or metal may overheat

• Stop using the candle when a fingernails width of wax remains

• Ensure to burn your candle on a heat resistant surface

• Keep the wick centred and do not allow the flame to touch the side of the metal insert

• At each burn, ensure to burn the candle until the wax pool meets the edge of the jar. This is particularly important for the first burn of your candle. Candles have memory and if the wax is not allowed to melt to the edges of the metal insert it is likely that your candle will develop a ‘memory ring’ which causes tunnelling around the wick. This will not allow for optimal burning time and may result in unnecessary ‘waste’ of the soy wax.

• Ensure to extinguish the flame with care before replacing the lid

• Do not touch the metal insert at any point during and immediately after use as the insert may be hot

• Do not touch the stone vessel at any point during and immediately after use as the vessel may be hot

• If the mouth of the metal insert becomes soot blackened, extinguish the flame, allow it to cool, and carefully wipe the rim with a dry paper towel

• Ensure to always keep the wick trimmed to 5mm before each use of the candle

• To reuse the metal insert, simply wipe the insert with warm water and remove the wick tab with hot water.
