CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOPS

Stone Design & Co are excited to have launched our Candle Making Workshops in 2022. 

The Workshops are an interactive, fun and informative way to introduce you to the world of candles. They are an opportunity to practice candle making under the guidance and supervision of an experienced instructor as well as allow further individual and group discussions around all things candles. 

Date & Time: We do our best to accomodate our clients and their special events. Please advise your preferred date. 

Venue: Stone Design & Co Brisbane Studio 

Duration & Capacity: 2.5 hours. Classes will be limited to groups of 6.

Cost: $180 (inclusive of GST and materials)

Suitable For: Birthday, Hens Party, Team Building Activity, Bucks Party, Christmas Party and for anyone keen to learn

Location: The workshops can be held in our studio or we can come to you for an additional cost. Please advise your preferred location. 

What you will learn.

  • Candle making techniques and safety protocols
  • Under the guidance of the instructor, each attendee will pour 2 x 150G candles 
  • Discussions and testing of the soy wax and cotton wicks
  • The melting process and the optimal point to add fragrance
  • Optimal pouring temperatures
  • Curing times to achieve a balanced fragrance throw
  • Individual and group discussions with the instructor 

What materials are provided. 

  • Guide Book 
  • All Seasons Wax (Soy Based) 
  • 1 x Stone Candle Vessel with Lid (stone of your choice)
  • 2 x Metal Inserts (insert of your choice)
  • 2 x Cotton Wicks 
  • 2 x Stickums 
  • 2 x Candle Warning Labels
  • 1 x 30ml Bottle Fragrance Oil (fragrance of your choice)
  • 2 x Wick Centering Tools
