Ash Grey Regtangular Flamed & Tumbled Granite Stepper

Ash Grey Rectangular Steppers are natural granite stepping stones designed for structured garden pathways and contemporary outdoor spaces. Available in 800 × 400 × 30mm, they feature soft silver-grey tones, a textured flamed surface and tumbled edges.

Their rectangular shape creates a clean, consistent layout while retaining the natural character of granite.

Silver-Grey Granite with a Structured Finish

Ash Grey granite features a blend of light grey and silver tones with subtle mineral variations throughout the stone. Its neutral colour palette pairs well with greenery, decorative gravel and contemporary exterior finishes.

The flamed surface provides a slip-resistant texture, while tumbled edges soften the stone’s profile. As a result, these rectangular granite steppers balance a structured appearance with the natural beauty of stone.

Rectangular Stepping Stones for Garden Paths

Unlike irregular stepping stones, the rectangular format creates a more uniform pathway. Each 800 × 400mm stepper offers a defined shape that works well in straight runs, staggered arrangements and contemporary garden layouts.

Use Ash Grey rectangular stepping stones to connect outdoor living areas, create paths through lawns or introduce contrast against decorative gravel.

Their clean lines also complement modern architecture, rendered finishes and structured garden designs.

Planning an 800 × 400mm Stepping Stone Path

When designing your pathway, consider the direction of travel, walking comfort and spacing between stones.

For example, a straight arrangement can create a formal entrance path. Alternatively, a staggered layout can introduce movement while maintaining a clean, balanced appearance.

Before installation, dry-lay your rectangular steppers to check spacing and alignment. This also helps you plan how the pathway connects with surrounding garden beds, lawns and outdoor areas.
