• Shape: Rectangular
• Size: 800 × 400 × 30mm

Highland Grey Rectangular Steppers bring rich grey tones and clean lines to contemporary outdoor spaces. Made from natural granite, these 800 × 400 × 30mm stepping stones feature a textured flamed surface and a consistent rectangular format.

Their deeper grey colouring creates contrast against lawns, decorative gravel and lighter landscape materials. The result is a structured pathway with the natural character of stone.

Dark Grey Granite with Natural Texture

Highland Grey features a deeper grey palette with fine mineral variations throughout the stone. Its textured surface adds depth while maintaining a clean, understated appearance.

The flamed finish provides slip resistance, making these rectangular granite stepping stones a practical choice for outdoor pathways.

Pair Highland Grey with pale gravel for a striking contrast. Alternatively, combine it with darker paving, rendered surfaces or architectural landscaping for a more tonal design.

Rectangular Granite Steppers for Contemporary Landscapes

The 800 × 400mm format offers a defined shape for straight pathways, staggered arrangements and structured garden layouts.

Unlike irregular stepping stones, Highland Grey rectangular steppers create a consistent visual rhythm. Their clean lines work particularly well alongside modern architecture, geometric garden beds and contemporary outdoor finishes.

Use them to connect entrances, guide movement through lawns or create a walkway beside the home. Their deeper colour also provides contrast against surrounding greenery.

Planning Your Rectangular Stepping Stone Layout

When planning a pathway, consider the direction of travel, spacing and surrounding landscape materials.

A straight layout creates a clean, formal appearance. Alternatively, staggered rectangular steppers introduce movement while maintaining a balanced design.

Before installation, dry-lay the stones to check their position and walking comfort. This allows you to adjust the layout before preparing the final base.

For a cohesive result, consider how the grey tones complement nearby paving, garden beds and exterior finishes.
