Quartz is a hard, crystalline mineral commonly formed in geothermal waters. It is present in many igneous and metamorphic rocks, occurring when quartz-rich sandstone or chert has been exposed to high temperatures and pressures. Such conditions fuse the quartz grains together forming a  dense, hard, equigranular stone.

Sorrento Quartz SplitFace Cobblestone is characterised by a blend of light greys, soft warm creams, and subtle blush undertones with natural quartz variation throughout. Suitable for driveways, pathways, entrances and more.

For a softer, more relaxed underfoot finish, Sorrento Quartz is also available in our Tumbled Cobblestone variation. While the original Split Cobblestone features a more natural riven texture suited to driveways, pathways, and high-traffic outdoor areas, the tumbled finish offers gently softened edges and a smoother surface ideal for patios, courtyards, and outdoor entertaining spaces. Together, the two finishes allow for a cohesive yet considered approach across different landscape applications.

This cobblestone is an artisan crafted stone with rocky edges to achieve an organic and textural aesthetic.
