Quartz is a hard, crystalline mineral commonly formed in geothermal waters. It is present in many igneous and metamorphic rocks, occurring when quartz-rich sandstone or chert has been exposed to high temperatures and pressures. Such conditions fuse the quartz grains together forming a dense, hard, equigranular stone.
Sorrento Quartz Tumbled Cobblestone is characterised by a blend of light greys, soft warm creams, and subtle blush undertones with natural quartz variation throughout. The gently tumbled finish softens the edges and enhances the stone’s organic texture, creating a timeless, weathered aesthetic inspired by old-world European streetscapes.
Dense, durable, and naturally slip-resistant, this quartz cobblestone is suitable for driveways, pathways, courtyards, pool surrounds, and outdoor entertaining areas. Its soft neutral palette pairs beautifully with both contemporary and Mediterranean-inspired architecture, bringing warmth, texture, and character to any landscape design.
A refined evolution of our original Sorrento Quartz Split Cobbles, Sorrento Quartz Tumbled Cobblestone offers the same sought-after blend of soft neutral tones with a more considered underfoot feel. The tumbling process gently softens the surface and edges of the stone, creating a smoother finish ideal for areas of frequent foot traffic. While maintaining the durability and excellent slip resistance quartz is known for, this finish introduces a softer, more relaxed aesthetic inspired by timeless European landscapes.
This cobblestone is an artisan crafted stone with rocky edges to achieve an organic and textural aesthetic.
